The use of drones has become so popular in TV productions that it’s almost unheard of not to shoot without one. 

At Create Pictures, we’ve been using drones for commercial purposes since 2015. Our chief pilot, Geraint, has logged thousands of flight hours, establishing himself as a highly skilled drone pilot. 

Geraint holds the GVC Drone Qualification, the highest qualification for commercial drone pilots. He also holds the Part 107 FAA US Drone Licence, and the EASA EU drone licence. 

Create Pictures expertise in drone flight extends into congested areas such as London. We have built a strong relationship with NATS, the CAA, and the Met Police, enabling the successful execution of drone flights in challenging environments. The meticulous planning required for these flights ensures compliance with regulations and prioritises safety.

Most of our drone shoots are for TV productions, but we can also use our skills in other industries. We’ve worked with architects and property developers to capture the progress of builds, and we’ve even done some mapping and surveys of hard-to-reach locations.
